Elspeth is a graduate of the 3-year Famous Artists Commercial Art, Illustration and Design course, Westport Conn.,  and she practiced commercial art for several years.  Consulting and public facilitation took precedence for many years, and 11 years ago, Elspeth returned to her first love, painting.

Elspeth uses bold and dramatic colour to capture the beauty and wonder of the Canadian landscape.  Focusing mainly on BC's varied coastal terrain, her acrylic on canvas paintings express her joy and awe of the richness around her.

Elspeth has participated in numerous solo, group and juried shows.  Her paintings can be found in corporate and private collections across Canada, the U.S. and South Africa.

Elspeth is currently represented by the Grey Area Gallery, Chilliwack, BC; Arbutus Gallery, Hornby Island, BC; and Denise Bezanson, False Creek Art Consulting Inc., Vancouver, BC.  Her paintings can be viewed at her studio on Hornby Island - 5455 Porpoise Crescent.
