I graduated from the University of Victoria with a BEd, majoring in Art Education and later added an MEd in Community Education.  I taught Visual Arts for many years, and eventually taught every grade from Kindergarten to Third Year university.

Painting, printmaking and other 2D media interest me the most.  I paint in acrylics, and create whimsical and colourful invented still lifes and landscapes that are made complex with the addition of pattern, lettering and overlaid layers colour.

My relief prints are derived from line drawings, and are hand coloured with watercolour.  I have exhibited in major juried shows on Vancouver Island, the Community Arts Council Gallery, the MacPherson Library Gallery at the University of Victoria, at Glendale Gardens and at my studio.
