Lauren Schnarr is a self taught and full time artist residing in B.C., Canada.

Although she started painting later than most, her success as a painter has been remarkable.  In addition to having 8 paintings published, her work has appeared in several TV films.  She has consistently been in Canada’s group of top selling artists for the past six years.

Lauren’s style is expressive in colour, texture and form.  Oil is her medium of choice, mostly because of the rich colour and luminosity oils bring to the canvas.
For subject matter, she likes abstract form, florals, landscapes and modern still life.   She states that her work is more about creating beautiful colour relationships than the defining image itself.
